Which 91快活林 uni courses accept T-levels?

Almost all of our undergraduate degrees accept T-levels. Most accept any T-levels, some require specific T-level subjects.

The best way to find out about specific entry requirements is to search for your course on our course finder.

Find your course

What are the entry requirements for T-levels?

Most of our courses that accept T-levels need you to achieve a minimum of Merit. Some require Distinction.

One T-level is equivalent to three full A-levels. You may be awarded any of these grades:

  • Distinction* (equivalent to A*A*A* / 168 UCAS tariff points)
  • Distinction (AAA /144 UCAS tariff points)
  • Merit (BBB / 120U UCAS tariff points)
  • Pass with C or higher in your core component (CCC / 96UCAS tariff points)
  • Pass with D or E in your core component (DDD / 72 UCAS tariff points).

Your T-level certificate will provide:

  • an overall grade
  • a separate grade for the core component, using A* to E
  • a separate grade for each occupational specialism, using D/M/P
  • confirmation that the minimum requirements for maths and English have been met
  • confirmation that the industry placement has been completed
  • confirmation of any additional mandatory requirements (these will be different for each subject.

The overall grade will be worked out from the grades achieved on the core component and the occupational specialism. Anyone who does not pass all elements of their T-level will get a statement of achievement which will show the element they have completed. We are not able to accept statement of achievements; students must be awarded the formal qualification.

Do I still need GCSEs if I am studying a T-level?

Yes, for some courses you need to have a level 2 qualification in maths and English.

For most people this will be a GCSE at grade C/4 or above. We also accept some GCSE equivalent qualifications.

Your T-level includes a minimum standard in maths and English, but it is not a requirement that those elements are passed to achieve the final qualification. This means that for our degree courses that require maths and English, you will need a qualification as well as your T-level.

Check the course finder to find out specific GCSE requirements for your course.

Can I apply after I get my T-level results?

Yes you can. T-level results are confirmed in the summer. If you haven't applied to university yet or haven't received any offers, or if you have turned down all your offers, you can make a new application once you have your results.

You do not need to wait until Clearing starts to do this. Get in touch with us to discuss your options.
