Academic equivalencies

Undergraduate

We require students who have completed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate Certificate to successfully complete an acceptable international foundation year or equivalent.

The following qualifications can be considered for year 1 (Level 4) entry on a case-by-case basis.

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/Intermediate Certificate from a recognised board with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (50-59%) PLUS a recognised international foundation course.
• Completion of a Diploma in Engineering when awarded by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka, after four years of study with a minimum GPA of 60% or First division.
• Completion of Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery when awarded by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council after three years of study with a minimum GPA of 60% or First division and following the HSC (grade 12).

Three-year bachelor degree may be considered for second year entry, on a case-by-case basis  

Postgraduate

We require either a four-year bachelors degree with a GPA of 2.75 or above or a three-year bachelor degree plus a masters degree from a recognised Bangladeshi university.

English language requirements

We will not accept a Bangladeshi English language qualification as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements. Find out more about our English language requirements.

Degree preparation courses at the International College

If you complete your pathway course at the International College at the required level, you are guaranteed entry to a degree at the University of 91快活林. Available degree subject areas include accounting and finance, art and design, business management, law with business, and many more.

You can join one of the many . There are over 100 societies – from faith-based groups and cultural societies to hobby clubs and academic groups. If you can’t find a society that suits your interests, you can even start your own! You can also make friends by joining a sports team or club, either to play for fun or take part in competitions against other universities.

Whether you are studying a bachelors degree or adding to your existing qualifications with a masters level course, it’s important to think about how you will use your time at university to benefit your career after graduation.
