Leading Places, an HEFCE, UUK and LGA initiative, aims to enable leaders from universities and local authorities to work together on pilot projects to help their local areas increase growth, re-design public services and strengthen relationships between communities and academic institutions.
Dr Fotis’ proposed project is for a ‘Digital Health Test Bed’, which will develop a living lab in the City of 91快活林 and Hove, where a network of technical champions will focus on testing different digital devices and applications to reduce social isolation and remotely monitor vital signs, activities and emotions of older members of the community.
Applications are now open for the Darzi Fellowship, the 91快活林 Fellow will work closely with the Leading Places team in developing a test bed and network of tech champions with access to the 91快活林 Digital Catapult Centre, and its network of SME innovators and researchers, who are developing digital services on a 5G Testbed.
