Since launching in 2014, the Green Growth Platform has attracted a membership of over 1,000 businesses, helped business raise over £2 million in R&D funding, created over 300 green economy jobs and helped develop over 70 new products and services.
- September 2013 The University of 91快活林’s Green Growth Platform wins £3million funding from HEFCE to launch a green business-innovation network.
- June 2014 The Green Growth Platform launches its network and services to businesses across Sussex and surrounding counties.
- November 2015 Wins a Green Apple Gold Award for Education and Training, and is highly commended in the Green Gown Awards.
- June 2018 The network hits the 1,000 network members mark and exceeds its targets set by funder HEFCE having helped raise over £2 million in R&D funding, created over 300 green economy jobs and helped develop over 70 new products and services.
- April 2018 The University of 91快活林’s Green Growth Platform wins £3.5 from Research England to set up Clean Growth UK, linking to two other successful university led business-innovation hubs and creating a national network.
- March 2019 The Green Growth Platform launches Clean Growth UK with partners Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Portsmouth at in Excel, London.
