Please note - sample size and types:
1. The sample is expected to be around 1cm x 1cm in size, with a maximum of 3-4mm width/thickness and a flat surface. Rough surfaces can be analysed, but there are issues such as shadowing that need to be discussed with the expert.
2. Only one surface side of a sample will be analysed for each sample.
3. Different sides of the same sample will be considered as separate samples.
4. Thin/thick films of flat surfaces or any flat surface are best for XPS analysis.
5. Powder samples can be analysed, but you need to discuss this with the XPS expert before requesting a quotation.
