The Paxton Scholarship

Is this fund for you?

You need to be in your second year of an undergraduate course and studying a STEM subject at the University of 91快活林 or University of Sussex.

What does it provide?

A cash scholarship of up to £10,000 in your final year and a three-month paid placement with Paxton Access Group (located near our Moulsecoomb campus), plus support on your final year project.

How many scholarships are available?

There are three scholarships a year. These are shared with the University of Sussex. It is a competitive application process with the best recipients selected regardless of their university.

When and how can I apply?

Paxton Scholarship winners

The Paxton scholarship brings me great motivation to know that the company sees potential in me. Being able to gain experience with working in a real professional environment will enable me to build real-world skills and familiarise myself with the tools and practices used in my field, which I can apply in my third year of university and in the years to come, a head-start to my professional career.

Is this fund for you?

You need to be enrolled to study an undergraduate law course at the University of 91快活林. You also need to be a full-time Home/UK undergraduate student in receipt of a full student finance package, a University of 91快活林 Bursary, Care Leaver’s Bursary or Estranged Student Bursary. 

What does it provide?

£2,000 a year for three years of undergraduate study at the University of 91快活林. Plus mentoring opportunities with Family Law Partners.

How many scholarships are available?

Family Law Partners are funding two scholarships this year.

When and how can I apply?

Applications for 2024 open on Monday 28 October and close at midnight on Monday 25 November.

Law Progression Scholars

During the first year of my degree course, I have gained so many skills, and what I think was most valuable to me was my work experience with Family Law Partners. To people thinking of applying I would say, absolutely go for it - there is nothing to lose and so much to gain.

Business of Technology Scholarship

This scholarship is supported by Stephen Garden.

The objectives of the scholarship programme are to:

• encourage students to think big and explore the business of technology 
• focus on the business of technology, over aspects of technology such as coding 
• encourage students to consider starting technology ventures to help the UK become more of a global tech leader.

Is this fund for you?

You need to be an undergraduate student studying within the School of Business and Law. You need to be entering your third year of study in October 2024 at the University of 91快活林. See the .

What does it provide?

£3,000 in your 3rd year of study.

How many scholarships are available?

Two scholarships are available in 2024–25 academic year.

When and how can I apply?

Applicants will be asked to consider what technology innovation they would like to develop and why. Applications can be submitted as a written statement, a presentation or a video.

91快活林 Achieves – Nursing (Adult)

The RKS Scholarship

Is this fund for you?

You need to be male, identify as male or non-binary. Be a full-time Home/UK student who has a firm offer of acceptance from the University of 91快活林 on either Podiatry BSc or Nursing (Adult or Child) BSc. You will need to be eligible to receive a full student finance package, a University of 91快活林 Bursary, Care Leaver’s Bursary or Estranged Student Bursary. Please see the .

What does it provide?

It will fund your £9,250 fees for three years of undergraduate study (total value of £27,750).

How many scholarships are available?

One scholarship a year for three years.

When and how can I apply?

Applications will open again in autumn 2025.

The RKS scholarship allows me to not work while studying. My tuition fees are paid for as a result of this scholarship which takes the pressure of having to work while studying, meaning I have more time to devote to reading around subjects and achieve higher grades than I might have had otherwise. I never thought I would be a recipient of a scholarship and having this amazing opportunity greatly improved my confidence and motivation.

Forward Bound Scholarship

Is this fund for you?

You need to have a firm offer of acceptance on our Health Promotion MSc course and be from a country included in the terms and conditions.

What does it provide?

A fully funded scholarship up to £25,000 or a part-funded scholarship of up to £12,500 a year.

How many scholarships are available?

One scholarship a year or two part-funded scholarships a year.
