As part of the university’s Higher Education Partnership with Albion, eight students – selected from a random draw – had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Albion’s base in Lancing.
As well as taking part in a question and answer session with club captain Bruno, defender Leon Balogun and midfielder Dale Stephens, the students were given a tour of the facilities including lunch at the academy canteen.
Bruno, Balogun and Stephens were asked about the impact of recent positive results, their ambitions in the FA Cup and the best players they’ve faced in their careers (Lionel Messi for the former two, Phillippe Countinho for the latter).
