Jordan (pictured right), a third-year radio production student at the University of 91快活林, composed the theme music and ‘stings’ (jingles) for which is presented and produced by his former lecturer, Gilly Smith who taught Broadcast Media and Broadcast Journalism at the university’s Hastings campus. The podcast hit the number one spot on iTunes food and drink earlier this year.
The delicious. podcast, which accompanies delicious. magazine, has been shortlisted for the best radio food programme or podcast, and is up against BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme and The Kitchen Cabinet. The shortlisted episode features Rick Stein as well as University of 91快活林’s Dr Tim Wharton, Principal Lecturer in Humanities, on his book Ugly Food: Overlooked and Undercooked. Winners will be announced 11 May.
